We use sustainable and renewable resources for our packaging
Polylactic Acid (PLA) is derived from renewable agriculture resources like corn starch or sugarcane. PLA food packaging looks similar to oil-based plastic products. These are made from natural ingredients which help to reduce the carbon footprint, and lower greenhouse emissions.
Our Sugarcane Products are made with sugarcane bagasse, a by-product of the cane sugar industry. After extracting the sugarcane juice, the bagasse is collected and then reformed into 100% natural food packaging containers and trays. They are recyclable and suitable for both home and commercial composting.
Paper is a very important raw material, taking a big role to replace plastic packaging. Our paper products are from plantations managing sustainable production.
Wheat straw is a material from the harvested wheat stalk. In the past it has been treated as waste and burned by farmers. This contributes to air pollution leading to a public health hazard. We divert this material from the waste stream and use this reclaimed resource to make durable, lightweight, compostable and biodegradable packaging.
Bamboo is an ideal material for alternative plastic packaging. Bamboo plants are one of the fastest growing, with the fibres strong enough for heavy duty applications. So bamboo packaging is suitable for mostly everything, from hot to cold. Surprisingly, they can be used in the oven and freezer.
